Holy Name of Jesus Parish, San Francisco is a welcoming, multicultural, and liturgical community rooted in our Christian faith. Named in honor of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we strive to glorify His Most Holy Name in all that we do.
Inspired by the spirit of The Joy of the Gospel, we live out Catholic values and teachings through vibrant worship, acts of service, and joyful fellowship. As a parish community that includes Holy Name of Jesus School, we are united in our commitment to forming disciples of all ages—nurturing faith, wisdom, and a love for God and neighbor.
With hearts turned toward Christ, we look to the Blessed Virgin Mary as a model of humble discipleship and quiet strength. Following her example, we embrace lives of compassion, generosity, and faithful stewardship as we grow together in faith and love.
Because of this, God greatly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Phil 2:9-11)
